‘Tis that time of the year when everywhere you go, you are bombarded with Christmas advertising, copious amounts of Christmas related junk-mail, and worst of all, the songs. The awful, terrible songs. Fear not! I have compiled some of my favourite/most tolerated Christmas songs for your enjoyment this Holiday Season. I am particularly fond of the one’s that refer to Christmas time being a ‘winter wonderland’, as I am in the Southern Hemisphere, I’m usually sweating my ass off on Christmas day

So in no particular order…

1. Fairytale of New York – The Pogues

2. O’ come all ye faithful – Nat King Cole

3. Merry Christmas Baby – Otis Redding

4. White Christmas – Otis Redding
